Davorka Derda

I was born 1973. in Karlovac, a small beautiful city on the four rivers, in the country of Croatia. From my early childhood there was something inside me what I can call a creative part, something that led me to drawing, painting, creating something from nothing. I knew I wanted to be an artist when I was ten years old.

During the past two decades I was creating functional ceramic art, living as  selftaught professional artist. Two years ago I felt an urge for sculpturing in clay, give to the world something new and fresh. Works presented here are the visible consequence of that urge, for which I hope you'll like it.
